Medications, appointments, blood pressure and glucose in one app: MoraHealth
Keep your medications, doctor's appointments, blood pressure and blood glucose in one app with MoraHealth, get reminders, and follow the trends on a chart.

In MoraHealth you keep your medications, doctor's appointments, blood pressure and blood glucose readings in one place; all of it is unlimited and free. You get reminders for medication and appointment times and see how your readings change over time on a chart. This post explains how to use each one.
Storing your reports is one part of MoraHealth; day-to-day tracking is the other. For an overview, see What is MoraHealth?
Medications#
For each medication you can record:
- Name, dose and unit: mg, g, mcg, ml, tablet, capsule, drop, puff, sachet, ampoule, unit or patch.
- How often:
- X times a day
- X times a week, with the days
- X times a month
- every X days
- as needed (with a maximum daily dose, if you like)
- Times: a separate time for each dose.
- On an empty or a full stomach.
- Start and end date, and a note of your own.
Medications without an end date appear under Medications Taken, and those with an end date under Discontinued Medications, so you see what you take today and what you took in the past separately. That split helps when a doctor asks "Which medications have you tried before?"
Medication reminders#
When a dose is due, a "Medication time" entry appears in the notification bell on the web. In the iPhone app, reminders arrive as phone notifications, and you can turn medication and appointment reminders on or off separately in the settings. More on the iPhone app in MoraHealth on iPhone and the web.
Appointments#
Record your doctor's appointments with the date and time, doctor, hospital, clinic and a note. Appointments are:
- On a calendar, in month, week or day view.
- Split by colored categories that you name yourself (check-up, dentist, eyes, for example).
- Collected in two lists, upcoming and past; the home screen shows your upcoming appointments.
24 hours before an appointment, an "Upcoming appointment" reminder appears in the notification bell. You can also choose which day the calendar week starts on and whether to show weekends.
Blood pressure#
For each reading, record:
- systolic and diastolic pressure (mmHg)
- pulse (optional)
- the date and time of the reading
- which arm, and whether you were sitting, standing or lying down (optional)
- a note
The Blood Pressure Trend chart shows systolic, diastolic and pulse together; switch between the last 7 days, the last 30 days and the last 3 months. Noting the arm and position helps keep readings comparable.
Blood glucose#
For each reading, record the blood glucose value (mg/dL) and when it was taken:
- fasting
- post-meal
- before or after a meal (with how many hours before or after)
- random
The Blood Glucose Trend chart shows your values over the same time ranges. Choosing the right timing each time lets you follow fasting and post-meal values without mixing them up.
Vaccination reminders#
If you record your vaccinations with the dose number and the date of the next dose, an "Upcoming vaccination" reminder appears in the notification bell 3 days before the next dose.
Seeing it all together#
The home screen brings your upcoming appointments, latest blood pressure and glucose readings, and latest reports onto one screen. To see your active medications, conditions, allergies and operations in a one-page document, read My Health Summary PDF.
If you look after someone else's medications and appointments, an elderly parent for example, you can open a separate profile for them; see Profiles and sharing.
MoraHealth is a health records app; it is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always make decisions about your medications together with your doctor.
