In MoraHealth you can open a separate profile for your child or a parent, and share a profile with another account by email invitation. How it works.

Besides your own records, MoraHealth lets you open a separate profile for someone close to you and share a profile with another person by email invitation. Each profile's reports, medications and appointments are kept apart and never mix. Adding and sharing profiles is unlimited on the free plan.

Who are profiles for?#

Your account is first of all for your own records. Beyond that, you can open separate profiles for the people whose health records you look after:

  • your children
  • an elderly mother or father
  • a family member in your care

You must be 18 or older to sign up for MoraHealth; your child's records are kept in your own account, in a profile you open for them. When you keep records for someone else, you confirm that you do so with that person's knowledge and consent, or as the legal representative of a child.

What is in a profile?#

  • Personal details: name, sex, date of birth, blood type, relationship to you (son, mother, for example), height, weight, country and city, phone.
  • Emergency contacts: with name and phone number, as many as you need.
  • Health records: lab, radiology and pathology reports, medications, conditions, allergies, vaccinations, operations, appointments, blood pressure and glucose readings.

When you select a profile, every page shows that profile's records. Make sure the right profile is selected when you upload a report or add a medication.

Each profile has its own My Health Summary PDF; download theirs when you take a family member to the doctor.

How does sharing a profile work?#

You may want to follow a profile's records together with someone else, your partner or a sibling, for example.

  1. On the Profiles page, select the profile and choose Share Profile.
  2. Enter the email address of the person you want to share with.
  3. They receive an invitation email and accept it with their own MoraHealth account; if they don't have one, they can create it from the invitation link.
  4. Once they accept, the profile appears in their account too.

What can the person you share with do?#

  • They can view the profile's records: reports, test history, medications, appointments, readings and the rest.
  • Adding, changing and deleting records stays with the person who manages the profile.

A profile is shared with one person at a time. If you send a new invitation to another address, the earlier one is cancelled.

Stopping sharing#

Choose Stop Sharing on the Profiles page and the other person's access ends at once. The records stay with you.

Handing over management#

If you want to leave a profile entirely to the person you share it with, use Hand Over Management. For example, if your grown-up child now wants to keep their own records, share their profile with them and hand management over. After the handover they manage the profile, and you keep view access.

Privacy#

  • Only you and the person who accepted your invitation can see a profile.
  • A profile someone else shared with you is not included in your own data download (ZIP); the person who manages it can download it.
  • When you delete a profile, all of its records are deleted too.

How your data is protected is explained in Is my health data safe?

An example: looking after an elderly parent#

If you keep track of your mother's medications and doctor's appointments:

  1. Open a profile for her and add her emergency contacts.
  2. Enter her medications with their times and her appointments on the calendar; the reminders land in your notification bell. See Medications, appointments, blood pressure and glucose in one app.
  3. Upload her lab results and follow how the values change on a chart.
  4. If your sibling wants to follow along too, share the profile with them.
  5. Take her My Health Summary PDF with you to the doctor.

MoraHealth is a health records app; it is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always review results together with a doctor.
